Chester Orazi's Obituary
Chester Orazi, lovingly known as Chet to family and friends, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2026, at the age of 90.
Chester was born on December 12, 1935, in Buffalo, NY, the son of Italian immigrants from Italy, his father, Pietro, from Aquila, and his mother, Petronella, from Rome. He was the sixth and last child.
Chet met his wife Sandie in 1963 and married her in 1964. They were happily married for 61 years. Chet enjoyed bowling, fishing, going to school, and finally his biggest passion was cooking for his family. All anticipated his spaghetti on Sundays. Everything that he touched was done with precision and care.
Chet is survived by his wife Sandie, his children Glenna Bloemen, Mike and Paula Bloemen, George Bloemen, Jenny and Tony Rockwell, Peter and Ann Orazi, and Tony and Maria Orazi, his 14 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
Though deeply missed, Chet’s family finds comfort in the memories he created the values he instilled, and the love he shared so happily.
