Charles Glenn Nichols' Obituary
Charles "Charlie" Glenn Nichols, 71, of Escondido, CA passed away at home after a long illness on Saturday, September 25, 2021. He was born in Columbia, Missouri to Harold and Joanna Nichols.
Charlie worked in automotives. First as a mechanic, then as a tow truck driver/manager and finally as a body shop manager at Quality Chevrolet.
His interests were muscle cars, watching old western movies, listening to old country music and of course singing karaoke. Later in life he enjoyed camping and fishing with family, riding his jeep through the Eastern Sierra Mountains. He was a member of the Bishop Gun Club.
He loved his family, but the loves of his life were the grandkids.
Charlie is preceded in death by his father, Harold and his sister, Karen Lynn.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Lupe; three sons and daughters-in-law, Jesse & Hope Nichols, Jonathan & Shannon Nichols and James & Ashley Nichols; his mother, Joanna; sister and brother-in-law, Alice & Dale Ramey; 7 grandchildren and many nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held Saturday, October 9, 2021 from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm at Alhiser- Comer Mortuary in Escondido, CA.
