Cayden Quoc Nguyen's Obituary
Cayden Quoc Nguyen, aged 41, passed away peacefully at Palomar Hospital on Thursday, March 16, 2023, due to an inoperable brain tumor, surrounded by his family. Cayden was a long time resident of Escondido, CA. Residing in the area for more than 20 years.
Cayden was born on April 29, 1981, to James and Phoi Nguyen in Hong Kong SAR. Cayden at birth was named Quoc Hung Nguyen. He changed his name to Cayden Quoc Nguyen upon receiving his US citizenship. Many of his long time friends and family still refer to him as Quoc. Cayden was a sweet child with chubby cheeks that all the aunties loved to pinch, much to his chagrin. He was passionate about Kung Fu, drawing, anime, movies and having a good time with friends and family. Most will remember his kindness and great sense of humor that could light up a room.
Cayden is survived by his parents James and Phoi Nguyen, his siblings Kieu (Nate) Garcia and Rikki (Joe) Kuykendall. He will be missed by his nieces and nephews: Dylan, Savannah, Grant, Zoey, Caydee, and Jonathan.
A celebration of life will be held at Alhiser-Comer Mortuary from 11 am to 1 pm on Saturday, April 29, 2023. Food will be served at noon. All are welcome to attend.
