Carter is survived by his Fiancee: Kristy McKenzie; Mother and Father: Sharon and Roy McKenzie; Daughters: Courtney, Nynah, and Kyrsten McKenzie; Brother: Chuck McKenzie and Sister: Penni Walker. Carter was in Law Enforcement for 17 years which included being a San Diego Sheriff for 5 of those years.
