Carter was a tremendous influence on my career here at Morgan Stanley. We went through training together (40 years ago!)....and he was definitely the smartest one in the group. It was exciting and rewarding to see him retire and start enjoying life with Dee and family. He will definitely be missed--
We’re neighbors of Carter & Dee for almost 12 years and the early years Carter walked his pug daily. At a Neighborhood get-together, he told me tongue-in-check, his dog liked my paspalum grass best! His more serious side at the same event shared his Dr. telling him he was pre-diabetic, his response, “How do I beat that?” The Dr. explained the lifestyle changes, followed by Carter, and he was successful.
Condolences to family, we’ll miss Carter, but gratefully still have Dee. Dennis & Susan
Carter Kelly was a great friend when he lived in Iowa City. Very kind and complimentary. I spent many hours with Dee. I loved them both. He will be greatly missed by anyone who was lucky to know him. May he rest in peace. Love Jan Omann
Carter you are sorely missed. You and Dee came in to my life and the lives of my girls 41 years ago. We met through theatre at Patio Playhouse. You were so supportive of Dee. We all became fast friends. We took vacation trips together. You became "Uncle Carter" to my daughters. We are devastated by your loss, but we are comforted in knowing you are resting easy now. May flights of angels carry you to your final rest.
