Carrie Bukowski's Obituary
Carrie Bukowski, 86, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2012 at her Escondido home. Carrie was born on October 16, 1925 in Poland. She married Richard Bukowski on February 11, 1961. As a lab technician at Hughes Aircraft Mrs. Bukowski worked on the first flight to the moon project. She later worked at Raytheon Corp. in Orange County for 10 years. Mrs. Bukowski enjoyed interior and floral design and was a talented seamstress. Carrie loved to cook and bake for her family. She was a creative, vivacious woman who was full of life and will be remembered for being a loving and devoted wife, mother and g She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Richard S. Bukowski of Escondido; son, Mark R. Bukowski and wife Tiffany J. Bukowski of Escondido; grandson, Zackary T. Bukowski of Escondido; and her large extended family in Poland. In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to the college fund of Carrie’s beloved grandson Zackary in C/O Richard Bukowski.
