Carolyn Neff Clemmer's Obituary
Carolyn was born on September 18, 1944 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She attended the University of Wisconsin until her marriage to husband, Duane Clemmer in 1964. At that point, she delayed her education to help put her hubby through college. Later, her husband's engineering work took them to El Paso, Texas, where Carolyn earned her degree in Education, while simultaneously raising two children. She taught grammer school in El Paso for several years. A job-related move in 1984 brought the family to California, where she taught in the Los Angeles school system. A final engineering opportunity for husband, Duane resulted in their settling in Escondido in 1987. Carolyn then worked as a legal assistant Carolyn lost her 12 year battle with cancer on February 11, 2013 when she passed away peacefully at home with her husband and son present. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Clemmer of Valencia, CA, in 2009; and is survived by her son, Jame In lieu of flowers, optional donations to the church are welcome.
