Carole M. Pfeffer's Obituary
Carole Pfeffer was born to Wilma Morris and Laurence Mulkins in Escondido, CA on December 10, 1941. She worked in a variety of industries throughout her life in San Diego County and retired as an Operations Manager from Directed Electronics. Carole’s passion was found at the roping arena where she would secretary and time at Pie Pan Arena, Bernardo Winery Arena, Las Vegas Horseman’s Park, and Casey Tibbs Arena just to name a few.
She was proceeded in death by her husband Jim Pfeffer and is survived by her children; Joe, Pete, Lisa, and Jimmy, eight grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
Carole was a strong, resilient, independent woman who never backed down from a challenge. Throughout her life she enjoyed quilting, camping, playing cards and games with her family, trips to Laughlin with her friends, and playing a hand of video poker or two. She loved to laugh, shoot pool, and enjoy cold Coors Light! Carole’s lifelong friends were among her greatest blessings, and her world was her family.
Those who knew and loved Carole and wish to pay their last respects are invited to her closed casket viewing on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, between the hours of 4:00 and 8:00 PM at Alhiser-Comer Mortuary located at 225 South Broadway, Escondido, CA 92025.
Her immediate family will lay Carole to rest with her husband Jim at Oak Hill Memorial Park in a private family only service on Wednesday, May 24, 2023.
