Carol Mae Hollingsworth's Obituary
Carol Mae Hollingsworth, 78, of Valley Center, California, passed away February 7, 2014 in Valley Center, California.
A Memorial service will be held at Alhiser-Comer Mortuary in Escondido, California on February 15, 2014 at 11:00am. Burial will be at a later date at Riverside National Cemetery.
Carol was born in Oelwein, Iowa to Max D. and Mary Lou Crain on January 22, 1936. She enjoyed reading, playing the piano, singing, making crafts and spending time with her family.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, and her late husband of 44 years, James A. Hollingsworth.
Survivors include her three daughters, Karen (Terry) Cleary of Sunrise Beach, Missouri, Jill (Thomas) McCain of Valley Center, Nancy (Mick) Sharp of Valley Center; 6 grandchildren, Jamie (William) Koch, Sarah Sharp, Wesley McCain, Brian McCain, Nicholas Sharp, Chloe Sharp; great-grandchild, Melissa Koch, sister JoAnn Crabtree and many more family and friends.
