Mr. Sullivan is survived by his wife of 17 years: Carol Ann Sullivan; Mother: Barbara; Brothers: Dennis and wife, Mary Dawn, Mark and wife Lin; Nieces: Elizabeth, Shannon, Lori and Sharon; Father-In-Law: Bert Randall; Brother-in-Law: Rob Randall and wife, Sandra; Nephew: Jay; and Niece: Julie. He earned a PHD in Oceanography from the Scripps Institute of Oceanography in La Jolla, California. He worked in the bio-tech industry and was a recipient of numerous patents. It was in San Diego he met his wife and partner that shared in all of his interests and joys.
