Bradley Peter Jakacki's Obituary
Bradley P. Jakacki, age 36, passed away on Saturday, June 12th, 2021, in San Diego, CA. He was born December 20, 1984, in Downers Grove, IL to Peter and Linda Jakacki. He was a 2003 graduate of Leo High School and a 2007 graduate of Purdue University. He worked in hospitality in Carlsbad, CA, displaying an ability to listen well and respond thoughtfully. He was a nationally competitive gymnast in his youth, and excelled at wrestling and football. He was gifted at whatever he put his mind to. He loved working out, going to the beach, travelling, reading poetry, listening to music, and spending time with his family and the AA community. Through all of life’s struggles, he continued to get back up when he got knocked down and showed tremendous resolve. He is survived by his father, Peter; mother, Linda both of Fort Wayne, IN, four brothers, Wes, Chris, Alex, and Josh; sister in laws Jackie, Michele and two nieces, Maya and Desi. Family, friends, and others whose lives Brad touched are invited to Pathway Community Church, 1010 Carroll Road, Fort Wayne, IN, from 2:30 p.m.-4 p.m. for visitation and for a 4 PM Celebration of Life Service.
