Bradford F. Merrill's Obituary
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; and three children, Mark, Todd, and Lisa Nina Merrill, Todd's wife, Lisa Anne; and four grandchildren, Megan, Matthew, Justin, and Jenna; his niece, Glenda Reed Torricelli; and nephew, Terry Reed. He served for 2 years in the U.S. Army in Korea. At the age of 12, he moved to Long Beach, CA and graduated from Long Beach Poly High School. He graduated from Whittier College in 1956 with a degree in Education. While attending Whittier College, he met and married his sweetheart, Elizabeth Reed. At He and his wife moved to Escondido in 1959. For over 30 years he was a teacher, driver training instructor and coach at Grant Middle School, and San Marcos, Orange Glen and San Pasqual High Schools. He was a successful varsity coach of men's and women's s In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations to Elizabeth Hospice or Mission Hills Church.
