Bonita "Bonnie" J Westcott's Obituary
Bonita "Bonnie" J. Westcott, 82, passed away at her Escondido, California home on Tuesday, November 26, 2013.
Bonnie was born on August 8, 1931 in Green Bay, Wisconsin to parents Clarence and Lena Verheyen. She worked for the Green Bay Catholic Diocese and later at the Escondido Boys and Girls Club for 20 years.
Mrs. Westcott was also a loving mother and homemaker who raised six children. Bonnie enjoyed travel, old movies, reading, bingo, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by children: Steve (Pat) Westcott, Dan (Jenn) Westcott, Barbara (Mark) Hasseler, Linda (Dan) Peeters, Lori (Paul) Gillette and Mark (Mary) Westcott; brother Lee (Mary Lou) Verheyen; sisters, Sue Allcox and Sally (Bob) Lemke; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sister Barbara Verheyen.
A Memorial Service celebrating Bonnie's life will be held at 11 a.m on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Alhiser-Comer Mortuary in Escondido.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to either the Salvation Army www.salvationarmyusa.org , or the Boys and Girls Club of Escondido, www.sdyouth.org .
