Beverly Ann Kellogg's Obituary
Beverly Ann Kellogg, 78 passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2013 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's. Bev was born on September 20, 1934 in Sheboygan, Wis., to Albert and Martha Gergish. She grew up and attended schools in Plymouth, Wis. Bev moved to California and married Gene Kellogg on November 28, 1964. She loved singing barbershop and was a member of the Pacific Belle Chords and later the Sweet Adeline's. Bev was named Barbershopper of the Year in 2000/2001. She worked as a bookkeeper and was an employee for many years at North Coast Publisher's in Encinitas before her retirement in 1989.
Bev was a passionate artist and painted in oils and watercolors and for many years belonged to the Carlsbad/Oceanside A She is survived by her husband, Gene Kellogg; daughters, Daunna Kellogg, Kristi Kellogg Miller (Tom); sons, Darryn Kellogg (Susan), David Kellogg (Amy), Korry Kellogg (Teri); step-daughters, Connie Kellogg, Vicki Panagopolous; step-son, Jeff Kellogg; ten The family would like to thank the staff at Villa Rancho Bernardo Rest Home for the excellent care Bev received during her 2 year residency there.
