Beverly Ann Price's Obituary
Beverly Ann Price passed away in her home after a six-month battle with kidney cancer on the morning of December 23rd 2015, with her husband by her side. She was 59 years old. She was born in San Diego on February 16, 1956 to Bruce and Jacqueline Bowie. Beverly had a very happy childhood spent with her two sisters, Vickie Bowie and Denise Gibson. She married the love of her life, Richard Price, on June 30th, 1979. Beverly Lived her life for others. she was an amazing wife and mother and a caring and devoted daughter, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend. Bev and Richie had two daughters that she loved with every fiber of her being. She enjoyed taking her daughters shopping and on trips, watching their soccer games, mothering their friends, chaperoning unruly Easter egg hunts, hiking with her daughters, nieces, nephews and dogs, annual girls' trips to Julian, and attending every family get together with pistachio pudding or artichoke dip in hand. Even though she said that she hated it when Richie brought home random dogs, she fell in love with them all and dressed them up as bunnies on Easter, and as elves on Christmas. Bev and Richie had many adventures together, from canoeing Lake Powell to backpacking in the Sierra Nevadas. In the past few years, Bev and Richie fell in love with a horse rescue and adopted two horses, Tank and Professor. Beverly is survived by her husband, Richard Price; daughters, Amie Price (fiance Eric Marchetti) and Corey Price; granddaughter, Mia Marchetti; father, Bruce Bowie; sisters, Vickie Bowie and Denise Gibson; dogs, Gertie, Bear, and Obi-Wan; and numerous in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and a host of long-time friends. she was preceded in death by her mother, Jacqueline Bowie; father-in-law, Richard Price; and mother-in-law Shirley Price.
