Bernard Rugar Schedell
April 20, 1929 - December 7, 2014, age 85
Barney passed away in his daughter's home in Placerville. He was born in Nuevo, Ca. to George and Margaret Schedell. He graduated from Eagle Rock High School, He served in the Navy and after being discharged went on to become the youngest licensed Class A Contractor in the State of California. After 25 years working in Southern California, he moved his business to Hawaii for 19 yrs. He retired in Escondido, California, but spent much time in the Arizona desert at his Lake Havasu home. He loved music, dancing and enjoyed weekend's deep sea fishing in Hawaii and California. Later in retirement he built RC model airplanes.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mary. He is survived by his 3 children, Scott , of Vista, CA., Mark of Clarkdale, AZ and Cherylyn Story of Placerville, CA., stepchildren, Kevin Snyder of Manhattan Beach and Stephen Snyder of Vista, CA. He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held on Fri. Dec., 12,2014 at Alhiser-Comer Mortuary, 225 S. Broadway,
