Mr. Dayag Sr. was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Dayag, in 2005; and his sister Lidia San Louis. He is survived by sons Calvin Dayag (Elena), and Benjamin Dayag Jr. (Marda); daughters Sonia Dayag-Pascual (Alex Pascual) and Cynthia Val Dacanay; sister Raquel Campana; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was born in the Philippines and lived in Escondido for 13 years. He worked for Spectrum as a security guard for 10 years, retiring in 1985. He was a member of the Resurrection Church.
