Audrey Jane Stewart (Hildebrandt)'s Obituary
Audrey Jane Stewart (Hildebrandt) passed away September 28, 2013 in Escondido, CA. Born April 14, 1920 in San Jose, CA to Clarence and Della Stout she lived a loving and active life. She married Frederick Hildebrandt on October 20, 1940 and for the next 20 years she was a military wife following him stateside and overseas with his last assignment at March Air Force Base near Riverside, CA. Fred passed away in 1976. She worked in various capacities in the Civil Service and advanced to the level of Real Property Officer at March Air Force Base by the time she retired in 1980. In 1982 she met Jack Stewart at a dance and they were married on November 21, 1986. The next 22 years included travel overseas, horseshoe tournaments, bowling, dances, and more. Jack passed away on March 31, 2009. Audrey is survived by two sons: Bruce Hildebrandt (Joy) of Huntsville, AL and Mel Hildebrandt (Kristie) of Escondido, CA , three grandchildren: Eric Hildebrandt (Lauri) of McEwan, TN; Lisa Hendrix (Derrell) of Loganville, GA; and Mark Hildebrandt (Cari) o
