Aubrey C. "Red" Phillips, Jr.'s Obituary
Red was preceded in death by his sister, Evalyn. He is surveved by his wife, Kay; sister, Juanita; five children, Rusty, Mike, Phyllis Kay, Tony and Amy; twelve grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Red earned a Bachelor's Degree from Texas Tech University. After many years of coaching college football, he became an NFL Scout, retiring in 1991. He was a Deacon of Rancho Bernardo Community Presbyterian Church, enjoyed golf, and was an outgoing person with a quick smile who had many friends. The family appreciates flowers or donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or American Cancer Society.
