Arthur Joseph Stehly, MD's Obituary
Arthur is survived by his wife of 45 years, Georgianne Stehly, and their nine children and spouses; Arthur and Michele Stehly, Francine Morey, Jane and Mac McKeever, Bridget and Chris Banner, Christine and John Schaap, Geralyn and Geoff Yantz, Annette and Jon Bailey, Andrew and Kristin Stehly, Bernadette Stehly and twenty grandchildren, Arthur was preceded in death by his son, Gerard. During the Vietnam War, he served in the Air Force in Topeka, KS for two years, practicing OB/GYN. He graduated from Loyola Stritch Medical School in Chicago. He did his internship and residency in Oakland, CA. He was born in Orange CA the eleventh of thirteen children.
He was a well loved OB/GYN doctor for 35 years in Escondido, delivering many thousands of babies. In addition to his medical work, he took pride in growing his own produce and raising a variety In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his honor to Missionaries of Charity, 3877 Boston Ave., San Diego, CA 92113
