Anton "PoP" Weidemann's Obituary
Pop is survived by his wife of 65 years, Thelma; and their two children, Jeanne Rollins (Howard), and Ron Weidemann (Maureen); four grandchildren, Tammy Connors (Chris), Ron Weidemann II, Trevor Weidemann, and Christopher Weidemann; and a great grandson, Blake Connors. At the age of 13, Anton drove himself and his mother, Harriett, out west to California, where the Weidemann family roots would be established. He worked as the foreman of the Alpha Beta meat packing plant in Huntington Beach, where he met his future wife The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations in Anton's honor may be made to the Elizabeth Hospice organization, which allowed him to complete his final hours with dignity and comfort with his family.
