Anna Marie (Nan) Hudson's Obituary
Nan was preceded in death by her husband and life-long friend, Bob Hudson. She is survived by her six children, Kelley and Chris Mac Isaac, Kayne and Peter Schaner, Steven and Susan Hudson, Chris Hudson, John Hudson, Kate Hudson and Tommy Schaner; 20 grandchildren; one great grandchild; and an extensive extended family. She was born in Jackson, Michigan to Anna Theresa and Chris Young. She was the youngest of six children. Anna graduated from Michigan State with a BS in Microbiology and earned a MA in theology from Loyal Marymount. She worked as a medical technologist at hospitals in Michigan and Florida prior to moving to California. She was an active member of St. Mary's Parish upon moving to Escondido in 1956. She taught 3rd grade at St. Mary's School full time for 21 years and continued to teach part time after "retirement" In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Mary's School Adopt-A-Student Fund or St. Vincent de Paul Society.
