Ann Ellrot Sheehan's Obituary
Born July 14, 1958 Ann Ellrott Sheehan had an uncanny way of making everyone feel like her best friend. You met her once and you never forgot her. She was a gifted educator and spent 14 years teaching Kindergarten at St. Mary's School in Escondido.
Ann was an animated storyteller, spirited dancer, fierce warrior, and giving soul - the only thing bigger than her smile was her heart. Her faith was unshakable and her family and friends were her greatest joys. Ann was married for 33 years to her best friend, Michael Sheehan, and together they traveled the globe with the mantra "We always have fun."
Ann passed at her home on September 25, 2015 and joins her parents James and Eleanor Ellrott in heaven. She leaves behind her beloved spouse and their children Alexandra Sheehan, Michaela MacIsaac & son-in-law John MacIsaac, Colin Sheehan and grandson Kilian MacIsaac. Ann also cherished her five siblings - her "partners in crime" - Mary VanHiel, Timothy Ellrott, Julie Taylor, Patricia Koch, and Thomas Ellrott.
A celebration of her life is to be held Friday, October 9th at St. Mary's Church in Escondido at 9:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, her family requests that donations be made to St. Mary's School in Escondido.
