Angela Marie Lee's Obituary
Angela Marie (Alley) Lee, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and dear friend to many, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 29, 2022. Angela was preceded in death by her father Michael and brother Marcus. She is survived by her husband Nathan, her children Nicholas, Rebekah, Samuel, Benjamin, and Jessica, her mom Caryn, and her siblings Michael, Alison, Matthew, Mitchell, Merrill, and Andrea, as well her grandchildren Rhydian and Ewan and numerous nieces and nephews.
Angela was born on August 11, 1970, in Enid, Oklahoma to two loving parents who raised a big, wonderful family who loved God. She spent her childhood and adolescent years in Spokane, Washington, a place where she and her family loved to visit and enjoy Alley family events. She attended Brigham Young University and married Nathan in 1990. They welcomed their first child, Nicholas, in 1991 and moved to Escondido, California in 1994, where they had four more children over the years.
Angela was loved by many, and she loved anyone and everyone who came into her life. She cherished being a hostess. If you were having fun, she was having fun. She found true joy and happiness in helping other people find joy and happiness. She was a devoted and loving wife to Nathan for 31 years. She was the rock and mother of five children as she and Nathan created and raised a family in Escondido, where she earnestly served her community. Angela spent the rest of her life loving, serving, and laughing. From hosting dozens of people at once for calzones and milkshakes, to making anyone, even a stranger, feel like a lifelong friend, Angela treated everyone like family. Her door and heart were always open. Even in sickness, she refused to think about herself. She loved her family and her Savior Jesus Christ, and it showed in every aspect of her life.
The family would like to thank the kindness and service of the medical team at Scripps Health.
