Alfonso M. Serrato's Obituary
Alfonso Serrato Sr., was born in Michoacan, Mexico on March 14, 1923. He was one of 9 children. He was married to Liduvina Serrato for 72 years. Alfonso, his wife and children immigrated to the United States in 1970. They purchased their first home and settled in Escondido, CA where they lived up until the present.
Alfonso worked picking crops for many ranches throughout California and Washington. He eventually worked for Watkins Manufacturing for 20+ years until retirement. He enjoyed family gatherings, visiting friends, listening to mariachi music, picnics at the ranch, the outdoors and wildlife. He loved life and was a generous person. He will be missed by family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Liduvina Serrato, 8 children, 22 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren. Thank you all for your condolences and prayers for the family. May he rest in Peace.
