Albert was preceded in death by his Son: Albert R. Hernandez, Jr. in 1953. He is survived by his Wife of 70 years: Helen Hernandez; Son: John Hernandez and his wife, Sharon; Daughters: Linda McIntyre and her husband, Mac, and Alice Dykeman; Brothers: Max Hernandez and wife, Norma, Ben Hernandez and wife, Juanita, and Tom Hernandez and wife, Catalina; and Sister: Letha Moore and 3 grandchildre. Albert was very competative on the tennis court. He played baseball in The Industrial League in San Diego, CA. He had a real appreciation for thoroughbred horses and was a big fan of Del Mar. He and his wife, Helen, were the original owners of Hernandez H Donations can be made in Albert's name to: Elizabeth Hospice, 150 W. Crest Street, Escondido, CA 92025.
