Mr. Bores was preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia McPhee in 2003 and son Jeffrey Bores in 1984. He is survived by his wife of 65 years Jean Bores; son David Bores (Marie-Jose); son-in-law David McPhee; daughter Daine Jean Shaffer; brother James Bores; sister Barbara Wagner; grandchildren Patricia Welter, James Shaffer, David McPhee, Jr., Holly Stires, Samantha Bores and Jon McPhee; great grandchildren Marie, Noelle and Sophie Welter, Allysa Stires. He was in the U.S. Air Force for 22 years, retiring in 1963. He was a B-29 pilot with 35 missions over Japan and 35 missions over the Himalayan Mountains into China.
