Abran 'Nico' Orozco's Obituary
Abran Nicolás “Nico” Orozco, age 54, of Escondido, California passed away on February 28, 2023. Nico was surrounded by loved ones at the time of his death. Nico was born in Escondido, CA on March 16, 1968, to parents Maria and Jose Orozco(deceased). He attended San Pasqual High School and worked for Witman Ranch. He enjoyed listening to oldies music, mechanical work, gardening, western movies, making wooden toys, playing at the casino, and Hawaiian pizza. His greatest blessing was his family. He is survived by his mother María, daughter Angelica, brothers Jose and Mariano, sisters Marta, Josie, Maria, and his nieces, nephews, and many more beloved family members. May he rest in peace.
A service of remembrance will be held at 4 p.m.- 8 p.m. Monday, March 13, at Alhiser-Comer Mortuary at 225 S. Broadway in Escondido. The funeral mass will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 14, at Resurrection Church 1445 Conway Dr, Escondido. The burial will take place at San Pasqual Cemetery. Those who wish to remember Nico in a special way may make gifts in his memory to the National Kidney Foundation or the American Diabetes Association.
