Victoria Muñíz San Inocencio Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Victoria Muñíz San Inocencio, 76, beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away on February 5, 2022 in her home with her children and grandchildren at her bedside. She suffered from an adult onset of a rare form of Leukemia. Victoria was born on October 11, 1945 to Alejandro Muñíz and Lucila San Inocencio in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. For a brief time, she lived in Chicago, IL and had two sons—José and Xavier Figueroa—but was never married. She moved with her sons to New York City for a decade and then to Escondido, CA, in 1980, where she lived the remainder of her life. There, she became a Certified Nursing Assistant taking care of the elderly. This became her career spanning over 35 years working in various residencies throughout North County. She was a loving, caring professional ensuring that even the patients that were not hers were well taken care of. The memorial was celebrated Monday, February 14, at 10 a.m. at Alhiser-Comer Mortuary in Escondido, CA, with committal to be held at Oak Hill Cemetery. Victoria was preceded in death by her brother Efrain, and her sisters Luz, Belén, and Isa. Survivors include her siblings Ana (widowed - Ed), Leo (Carmen), Josie (Dan), William (widowed - Elsie), Connie (Angel), Jorge (Marta), Daniel (Benilda), and Maggie (Henry); her two loving children José (Shelly) and Xavier (Maria); her grandchildren Dante, Aren, and Andre; and her great grandchildren Kayleigh and Haven. The family would like to thank Kaiser Permanente Hospice for their care and kindness.
