Lorraine Jeanette (Januszewski) Gill February 12, 1938 - February 14, 2022 Lorraine J. Gill passed away the morning of February 14, 2022 two days after her 84th birthday. Lorraine was born in Perham, Minnesota on February 12, 1938. She graduated as a teacher from Moorehead State Teachers College in 1959. She taught in Coronado, California where she became a Master Teacher. She married Robert Gill on November 9, 1963 and moved to Simi Valley where she taught in L.A. City Schools. She stopped teaching to become a stay at home Mom. She’s lived in Escondido since 1976. She loved - crocheting, sewing dolls, etc, X-Mas projects - embroidery and many different craft projects as well as puzzles, going to garage sale and the casino every now and then Lorraine is survived by her loving children, Vera Gracia (Jose) of Hot Springs, Arkansas: Daniel Gill of Escondido: Shawn Gill (Amber Stiles-Gill) of Yakima, Washington: brother Mark Januszewski (widowed-Carol) of Perham, Minnesota, sister Charlotte Owens (Richard) of Perham, Minnesota: she is also survived by adopted family Robert Maldonado (Vivian): she leaves 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Bob Gill; her grandson Gavin Gill; her father George Januszewski; her mother Helen (Renowski) Januszewski; her sister Viola Berryman; brother Walt Januszewski; and brother Vernon Januszewski. Graveside service will be held on Friday, March 18, 2022 at Miramar National Cemetary at 10:30 am.
