James B. Rodriguez

February 7, 1963 - January 7, 2022

Born February 7, 1963, entered into rest January 7, 2022. James was a son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew and a god father and friend to all. James was a member of the Fort Mojave Indian Reservation Az. He resided on the La Jolla Indian Reservation all his life. James attended the Pauma Valley Elementary School and graduated from Fallbrook Union High School he then attended a Trade School for welding where became a certified welder for many years. His first employer he worked for Contractors Steel in San Marcos and later became a heavy equipment operator, operating for grading contractors, working on many reservation projects throughout San Diego County, James was also a fire line dozer operator for Gratzl Heavy Equipment, fighting fires throughout the state. James will be joining his parents Harold Rodriguez and Carol Rodriguez and sister Joni Rodriguez Who have journeyed to heaven, James is survived by his brother Harold Rodriguez Jr. Sheila Rodriguez (Sloan), Wanda Growing thunder, Patricia Rodriguez, Calvin Rodriguez and Reuben Rodriguez, 4 nephews and 4 nieces with 2 great nephews and 5 great nieces. A viewing is scheduled for January 21, 2022, at Alhiser- Comer Mortuary Escondido, CA from 5 -7pm and Rosary will be recited at 7pm. Mass will be at Our Lady of Refuge Church on January 22, 2022, on the La Jolla Indian Reservation at 10:00 am and burial to follow at the Cuca Cemetery on the La Jolla Indian Reservation.
