Michael is survived by his parents, Bill and Wendy Hoffman; sisters, Shannen and Courtney; grandparents, John and Nancy O'Neil; aunts & uncles, Jim and Chris Hoffman; Carol Hoffman; Bill and Kelley Wandelear; cousins, Kyle and Klay Wandelear, Jeff, Lain and Mark Winnicki.

Michael enjoyed camping at the river with his family, rocking out on his guitar and ANY classic rock tune, hanging with his friends and enjoying life to the fullest. He was to graduate Thursday, May 27th with Escondido High School's class of 2010. Michael had planned to enroll in Palomar College's EMT program with the dream of following in his paternal grandfather's and father's footsteps in fire service.
