He is survived by his loving wife Nita; his children, Edward Jr., Cathy, Linda, and Phillip; his step-children, Wayne, Kathi, and David; his siblings, Albert, Alice, Elaine, and Ruth; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandson. He was preceded in death by son, Michael and brothers, Henry and Richard. |
Ed served in the Navy for 24 years as an Air Craft Carrier Aviator and supply officer, attaining the rank of Commander. He had many fond memories of his experiences and comrades. Mr. Peterman also worked as an executive with Solar Turbines in San Diego for more than 15 years before his second retirement. |
Ed was a man of great integrity and high moral character. He was an officer and a gentleman, a loving husband, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather. |
Mr. Peterman was a hunter and fisherman whose favorite vacation was fishing for salmon in Alaska. He loved to travel with his wife, Nita. |
Memorial contributions may be made in Ed's name to John Hopkins University for pancreatic cancer research or the Salvation Army. |
