Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph M. Pizza of over 50 years. She is survived by her brother, Wayne Margetts; sons, Jim Pizza, Michael Pizza, and Gary Pizza(Shauna); grandsons, Andrew Pizza and Stephen Pizza.

Both her and her husband, Ralph, moved from Denver to Escondido to retire, where she lived for 26 years.
|
She was involved with life and worked as a volunteer of Welcome Club, both in Denver and Escondido. She enjoyed hosting bridge clubs as well as visiting and enjoying her friends that she met through her numerous transfers. With her husband, they made several trips to see stage plays in New York as well as traveling to both Europe and the Orient.

She will be missed by all who knew her.
