Ethel is preceded in death by her husband, Tony Polizzotto; and her seven siblings.

She was born in Lake Bronson, Minn. She is the daughter of Alfred and Nellie Mattson.
|
Ethel Graduated from Moorhead Teachers College in St. Paul, Minn. She married Adrian L. Bingham in April 1950 in Minnesota. They moved to Whittier California where she taught elementary school while completeing her master's degree at Whittier College. Mr. Bingham passed away in 1967. In March 1970, Ethel Married Antonio (Tony) Polizzotto in Whittier, California.

For 32 years, Ethel taught elementary school in the East Whittier California School District. She retired in 1977. She and Tony then moved to Esecondido. She was a member of the National Education Association (NEA). She enjoyed reading, gardening, baking, aerobic exercise. She attended church at the First United Methodist Church in Escondido, California.
